Hello Everyone! Happy Sunday! I hope everyone has had a blessed Sunday! This week has been such a blessing for me and my team. It was full of ministry and God was working so big!
Monday-Friday were normal ministry times but we were able to hear some of the kids stories which was really beautiful because God has redeemed their stories so much and it is so good to just hear how God is using these kids and their mothers and situations for good. God is so good!
This Saturday we were able to go street evangelize and God also did a lot in that. The first person we met was a man who was in his 50s. His story was that he was a believer for a really long time and then he said after looking at his life he decided he wasn’t a Christian and doesn’t believe in it. He seem angry with God and the reality that the world is broken and unfair. He shared his confusion about Jesus and our relationship with him, and we shared our experience and just truth with him. Although he didn’t accept Christ (right then) he did accept the Bible that we gave him and also the prayer that we offered, so praise God! It’s good to remember that we are still planting seeds and even if it seems like nothing is coming out of it we are still sharing truth with people. The second person we came in contact with was a woman who was twenty one and was struggling with stress and alcoholism after her abusive relationship that she was in. After we talked and got to know her she accepted Christ! We were able to give her a book and pray for her after as well! PRAISE GOD FOR SALVATION!
This morning we also did ministry. We were able to help the kids and the owner of the orphanage get ready and go to church! The owner/ mama has not been to church in over a year and so we wanted to help her so that she would be able to go to church and it was just a beautiful experience.
I’m so grateful for the experience I had this week and am looking forward to the next and final week here.
Pray that we would finish strong and glorify God in all we do this week. Pray that we start to prepare our hearts and minds for Eswatini. Pray for the man that we met and for his salvation and understanding of the gospel and God’s character. Pray for the other woman we met that she would look to Jesus and continue to seek him in everything.
Thank you for prayers and support! If you would like to subscribe, please feel free!
